Dr. Sally Arif is a Turkmeni-American born in Iraq who cultivates an ethos of connection where identities and experiences are honored and seen as an asset in healthcare education. As a Professor and Clinical Pharmacist, she draws from 17 years of experience in healthcare and academia. Serving as an international and national keynote speaker on topics like cultural care, public health, and health equity,  she is an advocate  for culturally responsive and inclusive teaching practices in healthcare education. As a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) facilitator and educator, Sally's  serves on several national health and educational DEI advisory boards and is a strategist for developing and integrating DEI initiatives systemically and sustainably in the healthcare settings and higher education.
